Enrol

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at St Thomas More’s Primary School. We welcome enrolments throughout the year. 

To enrol your child at St Thomas More's Primary School, please complete the online enrolment form.  Please have a copy of the following handy as these will need to be uploaded during the process:

• Your child’s Birth Certificate 
• Your child's Immunisation Records
• Your child's Baptismal Certificate (if baptised)
• Passport/Visa/Citizenship papers if the child was born overseas or Citizenship papers
• Visa and Passport for Permanent or Temporary Resident
• If neither parent was born in Australia, please provide copies of the parents' Passport and/or Visa and/or Citizenship papers
• any Family Court or other Court Orders (if applicable)

Once a completed application form is received, our administration team will contact you to book a time for an enrolment interview with our principal.  

Please bring original copies of all the documents listed above to this interview. 

After the enrolment interview, our principal will contact parents to advise if a place is available for their child.

Enrolling for Prep 

It is compulsory for all Queensland children to undertake a full-time Prep year, prior to Year 1. To be eligible to enrol in Prep your child must turn 5 by 30 June in the year of attendance in Prep. 

Having your child begin formal schooling is a big occasion for families. We understand that this can be quite daunting for first-time parents. To support your child’s transition to school, we have a number of Prep Open Days and Parent Information Sessions in the year prior to enrolment. Once enrolments and class teachers are confirmed, we also hold a Prep Transition Day for students to meet their class teacher and classmates prior to the first day of school.
